The chestnut Arabian stallion Taez was inspected at 16 years of age and is an FEI dressage horse that has competed successfully in open competition to Intermediaire I level. He has competed in dressage since 1995 in over 130 competitions. While a diminutive horse, he shows very good, expressive stallion type with good overall balance. He has an uphill frame, a proper neck set with a well laid back shoulder and proper angulations of the pelvic area. He has an excellent temperament and a pleasant disposition. His legs and hooves are correct, and properly aligned with proportional hooves. He possesses a good, active, and supple walk. Both the trot and canter were fairly good and improved as he performed an under-saddle riding demonstration that showed tractability, willingness and good rhythm. As a jumper, he jumped in a most willing manner with ease which was a pleasant surprise for a 16-year-old horse that has only competed in dressage. Taez is an Arabian breeding stallion with proven performance, rideability, movement and an outstanding temperament. He should be a useful outcross to mare owners desiring refinement in larger, heavier and coarser mares and to owners who wish to add Arabian genetics to their breeding program.
