Huno, inspected at 4 years of age, is a handsome, masculine, well developed, middle-weight, bay stallion showing a great deal of Trakehner type. He is well balanced and expressive with a kind eye. He has an excellent character and possesses a quiet and calm temperament. His rectangular frame is uphill, his neck is set on properly, and he has a strong, convex coupling. The saddle position is good. He has good, well shaped hooves but his legs could be drier and his left hock could be cleaner and better defined. His movements are impressive with a very good walk, and a good trot. The canter showed a stride or two where it was disunited. He is a very willing jumper showing relaxation, confidence and good jumping technique. His riding demonstration was impressive, showing very good rideability under saddle and a willingness to go forward with elasticity, good rhythm and very good self-carriage. His pedigree has performance ancestry with both grandsires being designated Elite Stallions that competed at Grand Prix levels in dressage. He is three-sixteenths Thoroughbred through four generations. Huno as a breeding stallion should impart movement, improve neck sets and infuse rideability into his offspring.
